# WTO Writing Task: What We Did and How to Follow It **Folder:** `wto/` — **8 Markdown files**, **`wto-project-summary.Rmd`** (R Markdown report), **`styles.css`**, **`references.bib`**, and **`apa-single-spaced.csl`** (APA bibliography style, same pattern as `reflection_karpathy`). This README is the **road map**: what was produced, in what order, and how to read the materials by goal. --- ## 1. What this task was The project started with a **substantive brief** on the WTO: US and others vs China’s stance, MFN and reciprocity, perceptions of advantage, reform, and India—delivered as a **debate-style essay**. Maintaining this folder When you add or rename files: 1. Add a row to **§2** (chronology) if it is a new milestone. 2. Add a row to **§3** under the right **role** heading. 3. Adjust **§4** or **§5** if the new file fits a reader goal or the full tour. 4. For `wto-essay-sourced.md`, consider a **“links checked [date]”** note when you refresh footnotes. 5.
